Gasoline saw the carburetor directly affects the smooth operation of the engine and at the same time the speed and quality of work. His job is to mix fuel with air in the right relationship for that engine could operate smoothly.

The most common problems with carburetors for wood cutting tools are related to the dirt that has accumulated inside it over time.

One of the most common problems of carburetors is a carburetor clogged with combustion products, burns, residues and dirt when mixed with fuel. grease or mixed in the wrong ratio - pouring grease "out of sight", ie too much. Internal carburetor parts also wear faster during heavy use. Maybe you’ve never thought about it and always left fuel in the gasoline saw tank when you’re not using it, which is a wrong practice. This is because the ethanol in gasoline evaporates and, when mixed with oxygen, covers the inside of the carburetor with a film that subsequently evaporates from the heat and burns the inside of the engine. There may also be less frequent mechanical carburetor failures when a poor, defective part, such as a spring, bolt, or other fastener, is broken.

If you are economical, you like to repair the equipment, clean the carburetor or replace its parts you can really do it yourself. You can order all the necessary parts here, we sell Briggs & Stratton, Honda, Zongshen, Wacker carburetors, their repair kits and in separate parts. Gaskets, collectors, insulators, pompom, hoses, parts for new generation and older chainsaw engines.

It is necessary to drain the fuel from the tank before carrying out any repair work on the chain saw. After removing the protective cover, unscrew candle, remove air filter and its frame under which the carburetor hides. After loosening the mounting bolts, remove the carburetor from the engine after disconnecting the fuel supply hose. After disassembling the carburetor, carefully inspect the parts and identify the fault, replace worn, broken parts with new ones. Clean the inside of the carburetor with a special carburetor spray that you can buy at the store, allow to dry, and use a stream of compressed air.

After the carburetor has been repaired, the air and fuel inlets must be readjusted in order for the engine to run efficiently - fuel efficient and supply the power delegated by the manufacturer. With too much "greasy" fuel mixture, the saw will emit smoke, which means that the engine will not fully use the fuel supplied, if the fuel "lean" saw will not be able to run at full force, will react less briskly to the speed increase and may cause other failures in the future.
